Vanity-BTC is an open-source tool that runs entirely in your browser to generate
BTC vanity addresses.
Enter a short phrase of your liking, then click Generate to start.
What's a vanity address?
A vanity address is an address in which part of the text is chosen by yourself,
making it look less random.

How it works
Enter the phrase of your choice, select where you would like to place it
(prefix / suffix / anywhere), then click Generate.
Your browser generates random addresses until one matches your input. Once a match
is found, you can reveal the private key.
You can increase the number of working threads to reach higher speeds, or decrease
it if your device struggles.
Security
As explained above, everything is computed inside your browser. Nothing ever leaves
your machine — there is no database and no server-side code. Everything vanishes when
you close the tab.
Vanity-BTC cannot and will never store your private key. If you want to be
absolutely sure, you have three options:
• Once the page is loaded, disconnect from the internet and keep working — it
runs seamlessly.
• Save the page locally and use it on a completely offline computer.
• Review the source code yourself before using it.
Performance
Performance can vary a lot from one browser to another — Chromium-based browsers
currently give the best results.
Vanity-BTC works on phones and tablets too, but don't expect desktop-class speeds.
Compatibility
Any address generated with Vanity-BTC is a standard wallet and can be imported into any compatible Bitcoin wallet.
